Development Environment

Project Structure

The miniHIL project structure consists of an application and libraries. It can be extended for new model or test libraries.

miniHIL IDE

The miniHIL IDE provides tools for developing eTrice models and CaGe tests.

Build and Test Command-line

The miniHIl headless build provides a build and test command-line. By that it is possible to execute build and test related task without the IDE. This can be used to automate the execution locally or on a build server for continuous integration.

miniHIL Toolchain on PC

A PC-specific variant of miniHIL allows applications developed using the miniHIL toolchain and IDE to run on a PC instead of the simulator hardware. This allows the same testing and reporting capabilities to be applied in use cases requiring more flexibility, or in cases where the simulator hardware does not play a role.
